7 ELECTRICAL SECTION
7.13 Adjusting the Distance Accuracy
Perform this adjustment when the Main Board was replaced or the Y bar was detached.
Input the factory recorded values if the Main Board was replaced only.
Conrm the Y bar is installing at right angle (See section 6.29.).
Prepare a water-based ber-tip pen (black color), the A2 size of paper, and the scale (It should be
measured more than 500 mm.)
How to adjust the Distance Accuracy
(1) Turn off the power if the power is on.
(2) Set the DIP switch to normal mode.

(3) Turn on the power.
(4) Set the Tool condition No.1 to the following setting at the normal mode.
Condition No.1
TOOL Type : PEN
TOOL SPEED: 20
TOOL FORCE: 14
Quality: 1
Assign the TOOL 1 to the Condition No.1.
Select the Condition No.1.
(5) Turn off the power for the plotter.
(6) Set the DIP switch to adjustment mode.

(7) Turn on the power.
(8) Place the A2 size of paper on the writing panel.
(9) Mount a water-based ber-tip pen (black color) to the tool holder 1.
(10) Press the [Next Page] key until the following menu is displayed.
