value of 0 (zero) is centered in the stereo eld. A value of -50 is panned
fully left. A value of +50 is panned fully right.
If Panning is set to 0 in the multi-part Panning menu, the front-panel pan
spread knob controls program panning instead of this the multi-part Panning menu.
In other words, if panning is set to 0 in the Mutlti-part menu, the pan spread knob
determines the panning for odd and even voices in a program. If the pan spread knob
is fully clockwise, each new voice played is hard-panned fully left or fully right. If the
pan spread knob is fully counter clockwise, all voices are centered in the stereo eld.
A setting in between these two extremes results in a smaller amount of left to right
panning as new voices/notes are played.
