NOTE : As shown in Figure 4.2.3-9 Specimen Change (Readjustment), if the specimen or
the specimen stub touches the upper face of the frontage, re-adjust the height of
the specimen stub with reference to 4.2.2 6., 7. so that the specimen does not
touch the front of the specimen chamber.

8. While gently holding down on the specimen stage, press the EVAC/AIR switch to
conduct evacuation. The EVAC LED (blue) will blink. When the evacuation process is
finished, the EVAC LED (blue) changes from blinking to a solidly lit status.
