Adaptive Tx Power Control Commands

Command Usage
• When an RF Group Name is specified, adapts only to other APs on
the same channel that have the same RF Group Name assigned.
• When no RF Group Name is specified, adapts to other APs according
to a comparison of their respective SSID lists.
Example
atpc adapt
This command chooses between AP and AP + Clients adaptive modes.
Syntax
atpc adapt < ap | ap+clients >
• ap - Specifies AP adaptive mode on the selected radio.
• ap+clients - Specifies AP + Clients adaptive mode on the selected
radio.
Default Setting
AP mode.

Command Usage
•When ap mode is selected, beacons and data transmissions are given
the same adaptive transmit power levels.
•When ap+clients is selected, beacons are transmitted at maximum
power, while data is transmitted at adaptive power levels.
