Changing Your Workstation’s Hardware Configuration
Installing an EISA, PCI, or GSC Option Board
Graphics Configuration Restrictions
The system supports only four graphics displays at a time. A “display” is a
video output port or connector. For example, the Dual Visualize Enhanced
Graphics Card (A4451A) is a dual display card. It has two external video
connectors so it accounts for two of the maximum of four displays. If you
installed one of these cards, and a Visualize Enhanced Graphics Card
(A4450A) , plus the built-in EG Graphics they would account for the maxi-
mum of four displays supported by the system.
The built-in graphics adapter accounts for one graphics display (graph-
ics(0)).
NOTICE: The A4077A Color Graphics Card and A4078A Dual Color Graphics Card are not
supported in the Model C160L. Also the older HCRX-8Z (A4079B), and HCRX-24Z
(A4071B &A4072A) are not supported.
Optional graphics adapters may only be installed in option slots 1 and 2
since only these 2 slots support GSC boards.
