Changing Your Workstation’s Hardware Configuration
Replacing the Battery
4 Insert the new battery in the same orientation as the old one. (Use only HP part
number 1420-0314 or equivalent.)
NOTICE: If you cannot gain access to the battery, you may need to remove an option
board. Refer to “Installing an EISA, PCI, or GSC Option Board” earlier in
this chapter for information on accessing the option boards.
CAUTION: Danger of explosion if battery is incorrectly replaced. Replace only with
the same or equivalent type recommended by the manufacturer.

Remplacer uniquement avec une batterie du même type ou d’un type

5 Follow the instructions in “Replacing the Main Tray Assembly” earlier in this
chapter, to close and restart the system.
