3. Unsnap the fan housing from the chassis 2 and lift it out of the chassis 3.

4. Remove the fan from the fan housing by applying outward pressure on the fan housing while
pushing the fan out of the housing.

To replace the front fan, reverse the previous steps, but be sure that the airflow direction arrow on the
side of the fan points to the rear of the chassis.
Battery
The battery that comes with the workstation provides power to the real-time clock and has a minimum
lifetime of about three years.
WARNING! This workstation contains a lithium battery. There is a risk of fire and chemical
burn if the battery is handled improperly. Do not disassemble, crush, puncture, short external
contacts, dispose in water or fire, or expose it to temperatures higher than 140°F (60°C).
