About Internet Calling
You can configure the phone to place calls over a Wi-Fi network
connection, instead of through your mobile network. The computer
must be connected to a Wi-Fi network before you can make calls this
way.
Set Up Internet Calling
Before you can use the phone for Internet calling, you must configure
SIP (Session Initiation Protocol) accounts.
1 Tap .
2 Tap and then tap Settings. The Call settings menu appears.
3 In the Internet Call Settings section, tap Use Internet calling and
select an option from the list.
4 In the Internet Call Settings section, tap Accounts.
5 To receive incoming calls through Internet calling, select Receive
incoming calls.
6 To add an account, tap Add Account and enter the required
information in the SIP account details list.
7 Tap Save.
Add Contacts for Internet Calling
After you set up Internet calling, add SIP addresses for the contacts you
want to call using this method.
1 Tap Contacts .
2 Tap the phone number you want to call using Internet calling. The
contact information appears.
3 Tap and then tap Edit.
4 Scroll to the bottom of the screen and tap Add another field.
Note: Support for this feature depends on your network provider.
