Planet Settings
This section lists all configurable settings for decoding the Planet
symbology.
Plessey Settings
This section lists all configurable settings for decoding the Plessey
symbology.
Planet Settings and Descriptions
Setting Description
Transmit check digit Enables or disables check digit
transmission.
Default is enabled.
User defined symbology ID Sets the symbology ID for Planet. Range
is 1 to 4 ASCII characters. \xFF is not
supported.
Default is P1.
Code mark A one-character code mark that serves as
an identifier for Planet.
Default is *.
Plessey Settings and Descriptions
Setting Description
Transmit check digit Enables or disables check digit
transmission.
Default is disabled.
Unconventional stop Enables or disables decoding of Plessey
bar codes that include variations (thicker
or thinner bars) of the standard stop.
Default is disabled.
User defined symbology ID Sets the symbology ID for Plessey. Range
is 1 to 4 ASCII characters. \xFF is not
supported.
Default is C2.
