Download the Intermec SDKs for Android
You can download the Intermec SDKs for Android from the Intermec
website.
1 Go to www.intermec.com.
2 Select Support > Downloads.
3 In the Product Category list, select Software and Tools.
4 In the Product Family list, select Developer Library.
5 In the Product list, select SDKs for Android and then click
Submit.
6 Click the SDK name and follow the prompts to download the SDK.
You need to log in to download software.
Install the Intermec CN51 SDK Add-on with the SDK Manager
You use the Android SDK Manager to download and install the
Intermec CN51 SDK add-on software on your development PC. You
must install the Android SDK to use the SDK Manager. For more
information, visit developer.android.com.
1 On your development PC, start Android SDK Manager.
2 Click Tools > Manage Add-on Sites and then click the
User-Defined Sites tab.
3 Click New.
4 Enter this text:
http://sdk.android.intermec.com:60093/sdk/addon.xml
Note: To ensure you install the most recent version of the SDK, and
for easy version control, Intermec recommends you download and
install the SDKs using the Android SDK Manager.
Note: If you already downloaded the Intermec SDKs for Android from
the Downloads page at www.intermec.com, unzip the package to a
location on your development PC. However, to ensure you install the
most recent version of the package, and for easy version control,
Intermec recommends you install the package as described in this
procedure.
