PDF417 Settings
This section lists all configurable settings for decoding the PDF417
symbology.
Length 1 Restricts the length of the bar code that the scanner
will read. Range is 0 to 255. Default is 6.
Length 2 Restricts the length of the bar code that the scanner
will read. Range is 0 to 255. Default is 0.
Length 3 Restricts the length of the bar code that the scanner
will read. Range is 0 to 255. Default is 0.
PDF417 Settings and Descriptions
Setting Description
PDF with data length ID = 0 Enables or disables Irregular PDF to read
bar codes with symbol length descriptor
set to 0.
Default is disabled.
User defined symbology ID Sets the symbology ID for PDF417. Range
is 1 to 4 ASCII characters. \xFF is not
supported.
Default is C7.
Code mark A one-character code mark that serves as
an identifier for PDF417.
Default is *.
Macro PDF417 Setting and Description
Setting Description
Transmit control header Enables or disables transmission of the
control header for Macro PDF417.
Default is disabled.
