Checking the Hub Oil Level

Note: You must do the hubs separately.
1 Make the machine safe with the loader arm lowered.
Refer to Prepare the Machine for Maintenance.
Make sure the OIL LEVEL mark on the hub is in the
horizontal position, as shown. K

2 Clean the area around the fill/drain plug A.
3 Remove the fill/drain plug A and its seal, the oil must
be level with the bottom of the hole.
4 If necessary, add the recommended oil to the system
through the fill/drain plug hole.
5 Clean then install the fill/drain plug A and its seal.
6 Tighten the fill/drain plug A to 85 Nm (60 lbf ft).
