7.9 Advanced Spoke Detection
This mode, which can be activated when required, allows
absolute precision when detecting the position and
dimensions of the rim spokes, to allow more precise
behind the spokes placement. If the Cameras can't
recognize the spokes or the operator decides he is dealing
with a rim with a particularly complex shape, enable the
Advanced Spoke Detection function which recognizes any
type of spokes, even those with unusual shapes, for
example: paired, oblique, with holes or of different sizes
to one another (fig. 7-31).
Before performing the measuring run, in the Settings
menu:
Access the "Measurements Setting" topic.
Access the "Spokes Detection" parameter and select
the "Advanced" value.
Perform the normal procedures for the run.
Note: This function increases the time for the tota
measuring cycle by max.4 seconds.
During the Detection the icon in (Fig. 7-32) is displayed.
