The measuring run has been started with the device not

• Release the wheel and then clamp it correctly.

During readjustment values were determined which
exceed, or fall short of, the given adjustment value.
• Use clamping means supplied with the machine,
or have basic calibration carried out (service).

During the first readjustment run by the operator the
calibration weight was fitted by mistake.
• Unscrew the calibration weight and start the
measuring run again.

Wheel slips on clamping means.
The clamping nut is not well tightened, the main shaft
accelerates too quickly. The machine will stop.
• Firmly tighten the clamping nut, or in special cases
press the START key a little bit longer.

During a measuring run the measured data have been
made useless under the effect of outside pulses (e. g.
vibrations) and measurement was interrupted.
• Repeat the measuring run.
E88
The rotating speed of the main shaft exceeds the safety
limit.
E89
A key is jammed or the pedal switch is closed.
• Find and release jammed key.
Or
• Press STOP or ESCkey to check the switch.
If the error cannot be remedied, the pedal function is
switched off by pressing the STOP key or the ESC key.

The gauge arm for distance and rim diameter is defective.
• Call service.
• As long as the gauge arm is defective, enter
distance and nominal rim dimensions by pressing
the function keys and rotating the wheel ( 7.3.3).
