14-4 Status Structure

Clearing registers and queues

When the SourceMeter is turned on, the bits of all registers in the status structure are cleared

(reset to 0), and the two queues are empty. Commands to reset the event and event enable regis-

ters, and the Error Queue are listed in Table 14-1. In addition to these commands, any enable

the register.

NOTE SYSTem:PRESet and *RST have no effect on status structure registers and queues.

Notes:

1. The Standard Event Enable Register is not reset by STATus:PRESet or *CLS. Send the 0 parameter value

with *ESE to reset all bits of that enable register to 0. See Status byte and service request commands.

2. STATus:PRESet has no effect on the Error Queue.

3. Use either of the two clear commands to clear the Error Queue.
