Environmental Requirements
Ensuring adequate free space around the capacitance meter for immediate
disconnection of the power cable in case of emergency
As described in “Disconnecting from the supply source” on page 21, the plug
attached to the power cable serves as the disconnecting device (device that
cuts off the power supply) for the E4981A. When installing the E4981A, ensure
that there is sufficient free space around the unit to permit quick disconnection
of the plug (from the AC outlet or the E4981A unit) in case of emergency.
