11.12.4 ComCoder cables
11.12.4.1 ComCoder cables for S300/S400/S600/S700
All standard motors in our range feature the same 17-pin connector
for the ComCoder connection. This connector is also used for the
connections from the motor’s thermal protection contact to the servo
amplifier. The servo amplifiers have a Sub-D female connector for
the connection of the ComCoder and the thermal protection contact.
The cable shield is connected to the servo amplifier via the con-
nector housing. The motor feedback should be connected with pre-
assembled cables from Kollmorgen.
