FF/REWSpeed:Thisallowsyoutosetthespeedat
whichfast‐forwardorrewindwilloccurwhenyou
presstheFF()butto

GMInitialize:ThiscommandtransmitsaGMSystem
OnmessagetotheSequencermode,resettingallMIDI
trackstotheGMsettings.
SetSongLength:Thiscommandchangesthelengthof
thespecifiedsong.Whenitisexecuted,thelengthof
themastertrackwillchange, andthenumberof
measuresplayedwillchange.

andvelocityofeachnotenumerically,andtoinput
MIDIdata,thepitches,fromthekeyboard.Youcanuse
theRestbuttonandTiebuttontoenterarestortie.
EventEdit:Hereyoucaneditindividualeventsof
MIDIdata.
PianoRoll:Allowsyoutoeditnotes,velocities,and
controlchangesinthepianorollscreen.Byselecting
anddraggingeventsinthescreen,youcanedittheir
pitchortiming,ordeleteoraddevents.
EraseTrack:Thiscommanderasesthedatafromthe
specifiedtrack.Itisnotpossibletoerasethemaster
trackbyitself.
CopyTrack:Thiscommandcopiesmusicaldatafrom
thecopysourcetracktothespecifiedtrack.
BounceTrack:Thiscommandcombinesthemusical
dataofthebouncesourceandbouncedestination
tracks,andplacesthecombineddatainthebounce
destination.Allmusicaldatainthebouncesourcewill
beerased.
EraseMeasure:Thiscommanderasesthespecified
type(s)ofmusicaldatafromthespec
ifiedrangeof
measures.TheEraseMeasurecommandcanalsobe
usedtoremoveonlyaspecifictypeofdata.Unlikethe
DeleteMeasurecommand,executingtheErase
Measurecommanddoesnotcausethesubsequent
measuresofmusicaldatatobemovedforward.
DeleteMeasure:Thiscommanddeletesthespecified
measures.WhentheDeleteMeasurecommandis
executed,themusicaldatafollowingthedeleted
measureswillbemovedtowardsthebeginningofthe
sequence.
InsertMeasure:Thiscommandinsertsthespecified
numberofmeasuresintothespecifiedtrack.Whenyou
executetheInsertMeasurecommand,them
usicaldata
followingtheinsertlocationwillbemovedbackward.
RepeatMeasure:Thiscommandrepeatedlyinsertsthe
specifiedmeasuresforthespecifiednumberoftimes.
WhenyouexecutetheRepeatMeasurecommand,the
measureswillbeinsertedfollowingthemeasure
specifiedbyToEndofMeasure,andmusicaldata
followingtheinserteddatawillbemove
dbackward.
CopyMeasure:Thiscommandcopiesthemeasuresof
musicaldataspecifiedasthe“From”sourcetothe
beginningofthemeasurespecifiedasthe“To”
location.WhenyouexecutetheCopyMeasure
command,theexistingtrackdataatthecopy
destinationwillberewritten.
MoveMeasure:Thiscommandmov
esthespecified
measuresofperformancedatatoanothermeasure.
WhenyouexecutetheMoveMeasurecommand,the
performancedatafollowingthemove‐sourcemeasures
willmoveforwardbythecorrespondingnumberof
measures,andtheperforman
cedatafollowingthe
move‐destinationwillmovebackward(i.e.,
laterinthe
song)bythesamenumberofmeasures.
CreateControlData:Thiscommandcreatescontrol
change,aftertouch,pitchbend,ortempodatainthe
specifiedregionofaMIDItrackorthemastertrack.
EraseControlData:Thiscommanderasesdatasuchas
controlchanges,aftertou
ch,pitchbend,ortempoin
thespecifiedrange.
Quantize:ThiscommandcorrectsthetimingofMIDI
dataofthetypeyouspecify(notedata,controlchange,
aftertouch,pitchbend,programchange,etc.)inthe
track.Youcanalsoadjustforswing.
Shift/EraseNote:Thiscommandshifts(moves)or
erasesthespecifiednotenumbersinaspecif
iedMIDI
trackandrangeofmeasures.
ModifyVelocity:Thiscommandmodifiesthevelocity
valuesofnotesinthespecifiedareasothattheywill
changeovertimeaccordingtoaselectedcurve.
CreateExclusiveData:Thiscommandcreates
universalsystemexclusivemessagesorKROME
parameterchangemessagesinthespecifiedregionofa
MIDItrack.
EraseExclusiveData:Thiscommanderases(deletes)
universalsystemexclusivemessagesorKROME
parameterchangemessagesfromthespecifiedregion.
Todeletealltypesofsystemexclusivemessageother
thanthoselistedabove,settheEraseMeasure
command’s“Kind”fieldtoExclusive,andexecutethe
command.
