Why is my Kubota MX6000 Tractor engine difficult to start?

  If your Kubota Tractor engine is hard to start or won't start, several factors could be at play. First, check for fuel flow by examining the fuel tank and filter, replacing the filter if needed. Air or water in the fuel system can also be a culprit; ensure the fuel-line-coupler bolt and nut are tight and bleed the fuel system. In cold conditions, thickened oil can slow the engine; consider using a lower viscosity oil or an engine-block-heater. Weak battery can prevent the engine from turning over quickly enough, so clean the battery cables and terminals, charge the battery, and store it indoors during cold weather. Finally, a preheat (glow plug) system issue could be the cause; check the slow-blow-fuse and the functionality of the preheat system in cold weather.

  If your Kubota Tractor's engine is overheating, several issues could be the cause. First, check if the engine is overloaded and shift to a lower gear or reduce the load. Also, check the coolant level and fill the cooling system to the correct level, inspecting the radiator and hoses for leaks. Inspect the fan belt for looseness or damage, adjusting or replacing it as necessary. Remove any trash from the radiator core or grille screens. Finally, a corroded coolant flow route can also cause overheating, so flush the cooling system.

Why are Kubota MX6000 exhaust fumes colored?

  If the exhaust fumes from your Kubota Tractor are colored, the fuel quality may be poor, so change the fuel and the fuel filter. There may be too much oil, so check the proper amount of oil. The air cleaner may be clogged, so clean or replace the air-cleaner-element. If the inside of the exhaust muffler is damped from fuel, check to see if the preheat (glow plug) functions in cold weather and heat the muffler by applying load to the engine. If there is trouble of injection nozzle, check the injection nozzle.
