1. Adjust the operator's position.
• Adjust the operator's seat.

(1) Travel adjust lever (A) Pull
• Adjust the seat belt.

• Adjust the steering wheel [CAB type only].

CAUTION
To avoid personal injury:
– Do not adjust the steering wheel while
the tractor is in motion.
– Make sure that the steering wheel is
locked after adjusting.

(A) Press down
NOTE :
• Adjust the operator's seat and the
suspension to make sure that the controls
are comfortably at hand for the operator,
making sure that the operator maintains a
good posture and minimizes risks from
whole body vibration.
2. Start the engine.

WARNING
To avoid personal injury or death:
• Read and understand Safe operation in the
front of this manual.
• Read and understand the safety labels
located on the tractor.
• To avoid the danger of exhaust-fume-
poisoning, do not operate the engine in a
closed building without proper ventilation.
• Never start the engine while standing on
ground. Start the engine only from the
operator's seat.
• Always set all shift levers to the “NEUTRAL”
positions and to place the PTO-clutch-
control-switch in the “OFF” position before
starting the engine.
