anddisconnectthepowercordsandallexternalcables.
Toremovea2.5-inchhot-swapharddiskdrive,completethefollowingsteps.
Step1.Unlocktheleft-sidecover.
Note:Youmustunlocktheleft-sidecovertoopenorremovethebezel.Whenyoulocktheleft-side
cover,itlocksboththecoverandthebezel.
Step2.Openthebezel(see“Removingthebezel”onpage184).
Step3.Pressdownonthereleaselatchtoopenthedrivehandle;then,rotatethehandletopullthedrive
outofthedrivebay.

•Inspectthedriveanddrivebayforsignsofdamage.
•Makesurethatthedriveiscorrectlyinstalledinthedrivebay.
