After installing the power supply:
1. Connect one end of the power cord to the new power supply connector; then, connect the other end of
the power cord into a properly grounded electrical outlet.
2. If the server is powered off, power on the server. Ensure that both the power input LED and power
output LED on the power supply are lit, indicating that the power supply is operating properly.
Heat sink and microprocessor replacement

Notes:
• It may take some time for the heat sink to cool down after the system has been powered down.
• The heat sink is necessary to maintain proper thermal conditions for the processor. Do not power on the
server with the heat sink removed.
