3 RS232 COMMUNICATION SOFTWARE

3.1 Transmission Line Preparation

Any type of communication will only be connected successfully when hardware and software of both controller

and user’s PC are under good condition. Hence, hardware function checking must be done before transmission.

Hardware

Confirm COM PORT：Confirm if BIOS is ON and can operate COM port (ENABLE COM PORT)

Confirm specification of Transmission line：

Usually PC side has two kinds of com ports-9 pin and 25 pin, LNC controller was fixed to use 9 pin types, so you

will have two ways to follow.

NC(DB9PIN Jack) PC end(DB9PIN Jack)

pin5(SG) ---------------------------------------------- pin5(SG)
