To set the “PAPER PRIORITY” function
1 Select the “COPY SETTING 1” menu.
❍ Refer to “To select the “COPY
SETTING 1” menu” on page 7-40.
2 Press the [1] key from the 10-Key Pad
to select “PAPER PRIORITY”.
3 Using the and keys, select a
paper size or paper tray, and then
press the [Yes] key.
❍ Select from the following paper
trays.
1st Tray, 2nd Tray, 3rd Tray*, 4th
Tray*, 5th Tray*, Multiple Bypass
*Only with Di2011
❍ If the 5th Tray and Multiple Bypass
are installed, the screen shown at
the right appears.
The “COPY SETTING 1” menu
appears again.

Tip
If there are multiple paper drawers loaded with paper of the same size and
type as that loaded into the paper drawer given priority with the “PAPER
PRIORITY” function, and if the paper in all of these paper drawers are used,
a message may appear indicating that paper be loaded into a paper drawer
that was not given priority.
In this case, load paper according to the message that appears.
