Read the information in this section before powering up and operating MiR250 Hook.
Pay particular attention to the safety instructions and warnings.
MiR250 Hook is partly completed machinery, and there are steps you need to take before it can
be put into operation.
This manual does not cover instructions for designing, installing, or operating a complete robot
system, and it does not cover local legalization. Thus, this manual does not guarantee a safe
robot system but is only an informative document.

3.1 System manufacturer
A system manufacturer (for example an integrator) designs and commissions the robot system,
including but not limited to MiR250 Hook, top modules, and other accessories such as
MiRCharge48V.
It is the system manufacturer's responsibility to ensure that the robot system complies with local
legislation and that any significant hazards have been adequately reduced. This includes, but is
not limited to:

Performing a risk assessment
l
Implementing risk reduction means, such as floor markings and other information for use
l
Providing instructions for the end-user
l
Updating the nameplate if modifications of MiR250 Hook are violating the data on the existing
nameplate
l
Creating a Declaration of Conformity (only applicable in the EU)
Special attention must be given to the following risks with reference to the Essential Health and
Safety Requirement (EHSR) from the Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC, Annex I:
