5.4 Structure of CC-Link IE TSN Class B/A Devices (CC-Link IE TSN Protocol Version 1.0 Only) and Ethernet Devices
Coexistence of line and star topologies
Line and star topologies can be mixed according to the availability of each connection.
Configure the system with the number of CC-Link IE TSN Class B device stations and industrial switches (for CC-Link IE
TSN Class B) as eight or less in total for each port of the master station on the transmission path from the master station to
the CC-Link IE TSN Class B device of the end.
Connect Ethernet devices at the end of line topology.
When connecting an Ethernet device in a star topology, connect it with an industrial switch (for CC-Link IE TSN Class A) or
an industrial switch (for CC-Link IE TSN Class B).
