3 PROCEDURES BEFORE OPERATION
This chapter describes the procedures before operation.
1. Checking the specifications of the FX5-CCLGN-MS
Check the specifications of the FX5-CCLGN-MS. ( Page 15 SPECIFICATIONS)
2. Mounting the FX5-CCLGN-MS
Mount the FX5-CCLGN-MS to the FX5 CPU module. For details, refer to the following.
MELSEC iQ-F FX5S/FX5UJ/FX5U/FX5UC User's Manual (Hardware)
3. Wiring
Connect an Ethernet cable to the FX5-CCLGN-MS.

4. Network configuration
Configure the system and set the parameters which are required for start-up.

5. Network diagnostics
Use the network diagnostics to check that cables are connected properly and that modules are communicating correctly with
the set parameters.

6. Programming
Create a program. For details, refer to the following.

7. Debugging
Use the CC-Link IE TSN/CC-Link IE Field diagnostics for debugging.
When multiple device stations are powered on, the startup time of the device stations may vary. In such a
case, the networks are connected in turn, and data link establishment of all stations may take longer.
Power on all device stations, and then power on the master station to prevent this case.
