Operation error
In any of the following cases, an operation error occurs, the error flag (SM0) turns ON, and an error code is stored into SD0.
Program example
The program which writes the ten points of data from D100 to the device data storage file in the standard ROM when M0
turns ON.
Precautions
The value written to the standard ROM is the value at execution of this instruction.
The standard ROM write count index (SD687 and SD688) is increased by the execution of the SP.DEVST instruction. If the
standard ROM write count index exceeds one hundred thousand times, FLASH ROM ERROR (error code: 1610) occurs.
To prevent the increase in the number of writes to ROM due to the unconsidered execution of instructions, set SD695
(Specification of the number of writes to standard ROM) to limit the number of writes in a day. The limitation on the number
of writes is 36 times (default value). Set the number of writes in SD695 as needed. When the number of writes exceeded
the set number, OPERATION ERROR (error code: 4113) will occur. The number of executions of write instructions to the
data memory in a day is initialized to 0 at the following timing.
Data is written to the device data storage file when the END instruction is executed. Data is written to the device data
storage file when the END instruction is executed right after the execution of the SP.DEVST instruction. Therefore, writing
to the device data storage file may take multiple scans depending on the number of write points. Determine if data has been
written by checking a completion device.
