Device fans
To ensure their proper operation, regularly remove any dust from
your frequency inverters. Accumulated dust on fans and heat sink
can cause the frequency inverter to overheat.
Removing the fan:
X Insert a flat screwdriver in the middle recess and use to lever off
the cover .
X Pull out the fan’s connector .
X With your hand, press in the retainer on either side and pull
out the fan support . Guide the connecting cable and the plug
through the cut-out.
Replace the fan as follows:
X To remove the fan , release the fan from the clips in the
fan support.
X Fit a new fan in reverse order to removal. Make sure that you fit
the fan in the correct position in its support, observing its
direction of rotation and airflow.
X When refitting the fan support feed the connector and
connecting cable back through the cut-out.
X Reconnect the fan and refit the cover , first inserting the three
rear studs and then clipping in the two front studs by hand.
X After refitting, test the fan’s function (direction of airflow,
vibrations, unusual noise).
