Connecting the power terminals
Connecting the supply voltage
X Connect the supply voltage to the power terminals:
Single-phase supply voltage: L, N and PE
Three-phase supply voltage: L1, L2, L3 and PE
DC supply and DC link coupling: DC+, DC– and PE.
X Refit the cable retainer.
X Screw on the cables tightly according to Table 5.
Warning!
Select a frequency inverter that is suitable for the
available supply voltage (a section “Technical data”,
page 189):
DF51-320: Three-phase 230 V (180 to 264 V g 0%)
DF51-322: Single- or three-phase 230 V
(180 to 264 V g 0%)
DF51-340: Three-phase 400 V (342 to 528 V g 0%)
Warning!
Never connect output terminals U, V and W to mains
voltage. Danger of electrical shock or fire.
Warning!
Each phase of the frequency inverter’s supply voltage
must be protected with a fuse (danger of fire).
Warning!
Ensure that all power cables are firmly secured in the
power section.
Danger!
The frequency inverter must be earthed. Danger of
electrical shock or fire.
Danger!
Do not connect any cables to unmarked terminals in the
power section. Some of these terminals do not have a
function (dangerous voltages) DF51or are reserved for
internal use.
