(4) Advanced Chipset Configuration submenu
On Advanced, choose Advanced Chipset Configuration and then press <Enter> key to display the menu
screen as shown below.
Option Parameter Description
HPET
Disabled
[Enabled]
Enables or disables the High-Precision Event
Timer.
This feature may not be supported depending
on OS.
VT-d
Disabled
[Enabled]
Enables or disables Intel Virtualization
Technology for Directed I/O, which is provided
by the Intel chipset.
This option is displayed only when the
installed processor supports this feature.
Wake On LAN/PME
Disabled
[Enabled]
Enables or disables the feature that remotely
powers on through a network.
Wake On Ring
[Disabled]
Enabled
Enables or disables the feature that remotely
powers on using serial ports (modems).
Wake On RTC Alarm
[Disabled]
Enabled
Enables or disables the feature that remotely
powers on using the real time clock.
[ ]: Factory setting
Note
If the AC power is turned off, the Wake on Ring feature is not available on the next
booting after AC power-on. Press POWER Switch to start the system.
