3.1.8.1 Shaped and Unshaped VLANs
Shaped VLANs have user-configured rate limits (PIR and CIR)—called the
aggregate rate limits—and must use 16-priority scheduling mode. Shaped VLANs
operate on a per-interface basis and are enabled after a network queue policy is
assigned to the interface. If a VLAN does not have a network queue policy assigned
to the interface, it is considered an unshaped VLAN.
