Chapter 1. Introduction
This design guide contains recommendations and guidelines for engineers to follow to create
a product that is optimized to achieve the best performance from the interfaces supported by
the NVIDIA
®
Jetson
Xavier
NX System-on-Module (SOM).
This design guide provides detailed information on the capabilities of the hardware module,
which may differ from supported configurations by provided software. Refer to software
release documentation for information on supported capabilities.
Note: All occurrences of USB 3.2 refer to "USB 3.2 Gen 1x1: SuperSpeed USB 5Gbps" and "USB
3.2 Gen 2x1: SuperSpeed USB 10Gbps" only. Also note that Gen 1x1 and Gen 2x1 are referred to
simply as Gen1 and Gen2 in this design guide.
