Charging the Battery Pack
The battery is not char
ed when you purchase the camera. You
need to charge the battery before using the camera.
1. Place the battery pack in the charger
with the label facing up and the terminal
facing the charger lamp.
2. Connect the AC adapter to the charger
and then plug it into a power outlet.
The charger lamp lights red and
battery charging begins. When
charging is completed, the lamp turns
green.
NOTE:
Use only the special Techcharm NP-40 rechargeable
lithium-ion battery to power this camera.
Remove battery from the camera if you will not be using the
camera for a long time.
Normal charging time is about 230 minutes. Charging time
depends on the charging level.
During charging both charger and battery pack become hot:
this is normal.
