When Installation Fails
1,2,3... 1. Display the Device Manager on the computer. If OMRON-PLC is displayed
in other devices, installation of the USB driver has failed.
2. Right-click on OMRON-PLC and select Delete to delete the driver. Rein-
sert the USB cable to display the USB driver installation dialog box. Per-
form the re-installation procedure to install the driver.
Installing on Windows 7/8/8.1/10
The procedure to install the driver on a Windows 7/8/8.1/10 computer is given
in this section.

3. If the OMRON G9SP Device
is displayed in the list of uni-
versal serial bus controllers,
then the USB driver has
been installed correctly.
1. Turn ON the power supply to the G9SP-series Controller and connect the
USB port on the G9SP-series Controller to a USB port on the computer
using a USB cable.
2. Click Computer - System
Properties to start the De-
vice Manager.
3. Right-click OMRON-PLC
under Other Devices, and
then select Update Driver
Software.
4. The Update Driver Software
Dialog Box will be displayed.

puter for driver software Op-
tion.
