Edge Inspection
Position
This item uses the changes in brightness in a region to detect edge(s). Use this item to calculate the
coordinates of the edge(s) of a measurement target.
Region settings
This function sets the measurement region.

Edge search direction
Item Description
Measurement region This function sets the region to be measured.

Reference registration When the measurement region is set, measurement is executed on the display image,
and the result of execution is registered as the reference value. To re-register only refer-
ence values, you can use this function to re-register only reference values based on the
image currently on screen.
The edge is searched from the start point towards the end point of the region.
Setup Measurement
The edge is searched in the region according the preset
direction and change in color.
Measurement region
Change in color: light → dark
To acquire the X coordinate of the edge
