Verify the SPM
1.
Verify that the SPM Status LED is illuminated green.
The LED flashes green while the SPM initializes the Oracle ILOM firmware. See “Interpreting
LEDs” on page 35 for information about the status of the SPM LED.
2.
At the Oracle ILOM prompt, start the fault management shell.
-> start /SP/faultmgmt/shell
Are you sure you want to start /SP/faultmgmt/shell (y/n)? y

3.
Type fmadm faulty to check for faults.

If faults are reported, see “Detecting and Managing Faults” on page 29 .
■
If no faults are reported, then the SPM has been replaced successfully.
