thesystemoperatingatpeakperformance.Thesesimpleprocedureshelpmakesurethatyour
equipmentiscleanandfreeofdebris.
Sinceasinglelistcannotaddressallapplicationsandconditions,itisimportanttocommunicatewithyour
PitneyBowesCustomerServiceRepresentativetodevelopamaintenanceprogramforyoursystem.
Safety Precautions
Beforeperformingmaintenanceonanyequipment,followthesesafetyprecautions:
l Removeallmaterialandenvelopesfromthesystembeforeperforminganymaintenanceactivity.
l Useanindustrialvacuumcleanerequippedwithanon-metallictiptoremovepaperdustand
debrisfromthesystem.
Overall System Maintenance
Performthesesystemmaintenanceactivitiesateveryshift:
l Removedustanddebrisfromtheentiremachine,eitherviaairorvacuum(the vacuum tip must be
non-metallic)
Note:
Followeyesafetyprotectionpoliciesinplaceatyoursite.
l Refillthesealerbrushreservoirbottle
l Inspectsuctioncupsandreplaceifnecessary
l Cleanandinktheedgemarkersandmailmachines(ifequipped)
l Cleansystemcovers(use only the approved cleaner - 902-F Polycarbonate cleaner - for top clear
Plexiglas covers)
