Adjusting the Engine Tongue Position
Theenginetonguehelpsguidethecollationintotheopenenvelopeandpreventsitfromcatchingonthe
envelopethroat.Thetonguepositionneedstobeadjustedwhenthethroatoftheenvelopechanges.
Toadjusttheenginetongueposition:
1. Lifttheenginecover.
2. Lifttheupperenginetoaccessthevacuumdeck.
3. Opentheflapoftheenvelopeandfoldtheflapinside,sotheenvelopethroatisshowing.
4. Alignthetopoftheenvelope(flapcreaseline)withthedecklinesshownhere.(This is where the
envelope is staged. All adjustments should be made from this position.)
