Performance Diagnostics
NOTE: This section is available for both Acuity and vSTAC vPGs.
Performance Diagnostics provides an in-depth look into the performance of network connections and disk usage for the
selected Acuity vPG. This view provides Network information from a node perspective and is updated when the dropdown
menu is changed. Performance Diagnostics does not update continuously like Performance Monitor, and the view will
remain static until a variable is changed; however, multiple entities can be selected for viewing.
For the selected vPG, there are two main views: Global View and Node View. Global View separates Networks and
Storage (as well as Volumes, as applicable) into relevant sub-categories, and shows this data as pulled from the vPG.
Node View provides information on those same sub-categories specific to the chosen node.
These options all have the same basic drop-down menu at the top that allow for the selection of Time, Entities, Metrics,
Chart Type, and Scale Type.
• Time selections are contingent on vPG type and offer: 5 minutes, 1 hour, 1 day, 1 week, or 1 month.
• Entities dropdown provides different options depending on the view chosen in the navigation tree. Global View
Entities will be a list of the available nodes on which to pull this data, and Node View Entities are the same Networks
listed above in Global View. Choose one, multiple, or Select All.
• Metrics options will vary depending on the option chosen in the navigation tree. The same data sets are available two
different ways: from the Global View or Node View.
