System Options 2
Bus Device Missing
The system scans the system bus for all installed components (keypads, proximity readers, zone/output
expanders).
Tamper Alarm - If a component is missing from the panel, a tamper alarm will be created and a system fault
condition will be generated and displayed on the keypad.
Fault Indication - If a component is missing from the panel, no tamper alarm will be created. A system fault
07 will be generated and displayed on the keypad.
Put Zone Restorals In the Log
Yes - This option allows the engineer to enable zone restoral events to be logged. In this case both zone
alarm and zone restorals events will be put into the log.
No - This option allows the engineer to stop the system putting zone restoral events into the memory log. In
this case only zone activations will be put into the log.
Engineer Lockout When Armed
Yes - This option will prevent the engineer from accessing Engineer Mode if any partitions are armed.
No - If this option is active then the engineer will be able to access the Engineer Mode even if all partitions are
armed from any of the keypads available.
Allow Arm When H, I, P, F, M, T Zones Open
Yes - When this option is enabled it will be possible to start arming the panel even if the 24 h, Immediate, PA,
Fire, Medical and Tamper zones are open. In this case the panel will start arming but it will not arm until all
open zones are closed.
No - When this option is disabled and any of the 24 h, Immediate, PA, Fire, Medical and Tamper zones are
open the panel will not start arming. First these zones must be closed and only then it will be possible to start
the arming procedure. However if Entry/Exit or Access zones are open the panel will still start arming.
Immediate Zones Open On Exit
Causes Alarm - If an Immediate zone opens whilst the panel is arming, the panel will go into an alarm
condition.
Does Not Cause Alarm - If an Immediate zone opens whilst the panel is arming, the panel will not cause an
alarm condition.
