USB Resource String
The syntax of the used USB resource string is:
USB::<vendor ID>::<product ID>::<serial number>[::INSTR]
where:
●
<vendor ID> is the vendor ID for Rohde & Schwarz (0x0AAD)
●
<product ID> is the product ID for the Rohde & Schwarz power sensor
●
<serial number> is the individual serial number on the name plate at the rear side
of the power sensor

Example:
USB::0x0AAD::0x0143::100001
0x0AAD is the vendor ID for Rohde & Schwarz.
0x0143 is the product ID for the R&S NRP18P power sensor.
100001 is the serial number of the particular power sensor.
10.2 Status reporting system
The status reporting system stores all information on the current operating state of the
sensor, and on errors which have occurred. This information is stored in the status reg-
isters and in the error queue. You can query both with the commands of the STATus
subsystem.
10.2.1 Overview
Fig.10-1 shows the hierarchical structure of information in the status registers.
