TheCourseDeviationIndicator(CDI)givesagraphical
representationofyourvessel’scourseina‘rollingroad’format.
Withyourdisplayreceivingaccurateheadingandposition
information,youcanusetheCourseDeviationIndicator(CDI)to
monitoryourcourseandaccuratelysteertoatargetwaypoint.
TheCDIapplicationshowsa‘rollingroad’,whichrepresentsawidth
ofseaequaltotheCrossTrackError(XTE)limitsthatyouhave
speciedintheSetupmenu.Asyoutraveltowardsthetarget
waypoint,thecheckeredpatternandthewaypointwillmovedown
thescreenatarateproportionaltoyourboat’sspeed.Navigation
dataisdisplayedalongsideorbelowtherollingroad.
TheCDIapplicationispre-conguredtodisplaytheCDIgraphic.
Youcancustomizethepaneltodisplayanyavailabledata.
11.2SelectingtheCDIapplication
1.PressandholdthePAGEbuttonforthreeseconds,untilthe
SelectPageSetwindowappears.
2.Usingtherotaryencoderortrackpad,highlightthepagesetthat
youwanttocustomize.
3.PresstheEDITPAGESETsoftkeytoeditthehighlightedpage
set.
4.Pressthesoftkeyassociatedwiththepagesetyouwishtoedit.
5.Usingtherotaryencoderortrackpad,highlightthepagelayout
stylethatyouwantforthepageset.
6.PresstheOKbutton.
7.Usingtherotaryencoderortrackpad,highlighttheCDI
Application.
8.Ifyouhavechosenapagelayoutfeaturingmultipleapplications,
presstheACTIVEbuttontotogglebetweenthewindows(the
currentlyselectedwindowishighlightedinred).
9.PresstheOKbuttontoselectthehighlightedapplicationfor
thatpage.

samedataisdisplayedineach.
