Withroutesyoucan:
•Buildatemporaryroutethatyoufollowimmediately(Quick
Route).Ifyoudonotrenameaquickroute,itwillbeoverwritten
anditswaypointsdeletedwhenanewquickrouteisbuilt.
•Buildandsavearouteforlateruse,inwhichcasetherouteis
storedintheroutelist.
•Convertatrackofyourcourseintoaroute.
Oncecreatedyouhavetheoptiontoviewaroute’sdetails,amend
itscourse,edititsnameandcolororeraseit.Allrouteoptionscan
beaccessedviatheROUTESsoftkey.
Buildingaroute
Routescaneitherbebuiltonscreenorviathewaypointlist.Aroute
consistsof:
•Newwaypointsthatyouhavespecicallyplacedforthatroute;or:
•Existingwaypointsthatarealreadystoredinthesystem;or:
•Acombinationofnewandexistingwaypoints.
Note:Aroutecanalsobecreatedfromatrack.
Upto150routescanbeaddedtoyoursystem,eachconsistingof
upto50waypoints.Aseachwaypointisadded,itisassignedan
indexnumbercorrespondingtoitspositionintherouteanddrawn
onthechartusingthecurrentlyspeciedsymbol.Thefollowing
shouldbenoted:
•Whenarouteisbeingbuiltitisnotactiveanddoesnotaffect
anycurrentnavigation.
•Youcanincludeawaypointmorethanonceinaroute,butthe
samewaypointcannotbeplacedconsecutively.
•Youcancreateanewroutewhentheroutelistisfullbutonsaving
this,youwillbepromptedtochooseanexistingroutetooverwrite.
•Youcannotsaveanewrouteifanyofthewaypointswithinitare
currentlyactive.
•ThewayinwhichtheOKandCANCELbuttonsoperateis
differentwhenyouarebuildingandeditingroutes.

1.PresstheNAVIGATIONOPTIONSsoftkey.
2.PresstheROUTESsoftkey.
3.PresstheBUILDNEWROUTEsoftkey.
4.Usingthetrackpad,positionthecursoratthedesiredposition
ontheChart.
5.PressthePLACEWAYPOINTsoftkey.
6.RepeatSteps4to5foreachnewwaypoint,untiltherouteis
complete.
