1.PressandreleasethePOWERbutton.
2.PressthePILOTSTANDBYsoftkey.
Theautopilotisdisengaged,andputintostandbymode.

Youcanuseyourmultifunctiondisplaytocontrolyourautopilot.
Note:Forinformationonconnectinganautopilotcontrolhead
toyourmultifunctiondisplay,refertothedocumentationthat
accompaniestheautopilotcontrolhead.
WiththeAutopilotControlfunctionenabled,youcanuseyour
multifunctiondisplayto:
•Engagetheautopilotandinstructittofollowwaypointsinaroute.
•Disengagetheautopilot.
•Silencethewaypointarrivalalarm.

Theautopilotcontrolfunctionsonyourmultifunctiondisplayare
centeredaroundthePilotControldialog.Thisdialogisdisplayedin
thefollowingsituations:
•WhenyoupresstheGOTOorFOLLOWROUTEsoftkeyinthe
chartapplication.
•Whenyouarefollowingaroute,andplacethecursoroveran
activerouteorwaypointonthechart,andpresstheSTOPGOTO,
STOPFOLLOW,orADVANCEWAYPOINTsoftkey.
•Whenyouarriveatatargetwaypoint.
