WhenthemotionmodeissettoTrue,thechartisxedandthe
vesselmovesintrueperspectivetoxedlandmassesonthescreen.
Asthevessel’spositionapproachestheedgeofthescreen,the
chartpictureisautomaticallyresettorevealtheareaaheadofthe
vessel.
Note:ItisnotpossibletoselectTrueMotionwhentheorientation
issettoHeadUp.

Autorange
Autorangeselectsandmaintainsthelargestpossiblescaleofchart
thatwilldisplayboththevesselandthetargetwaypoint.Autorange
isnotavailableifradar-chartsynchronizationison.
Chartoffset
Chartoffsetenablesyoutocompensateforpositionerrorsinthe
cartographybymovingthepositionofthechart.
Thisadjustmentisindicatedasadistancenorth/west(+ve)or
south/east(-ve)fromyourvesselposition,toamaximumof1000m.
Toviewtheeffectsofanoffsetyoucanturnthefeatureonoroff.
Oncecalculated,theoffsetisappliedtoallcharts.
Note:Anyoffsetenteredwillbeappliedtoallchartsonthechart
card.Youshouldthereforeensurethatthisfeatureisswitched
offonceyouhavecompensatedforthepositionerrorsinthe
cartography.Anychartingerrorsthatyoudiscovershouldbe
reportedtoNavionics.
Enablingchartoffset
1.PresstheMENUbutton.
2.Usingthetrackpad,highlighttheChartSetupmenuoption,and
pressthetrackpadrighttoselectit.
3.Usingthetrackpad,highlighttheChartOffsetmenuoption,and
pressthetrackpadrighttoselectit.
4.PresstheOFFSETsoftkey,andselecttheONoption.
Note:Ifyourvesselpositionisnotavailable,thecurrentchart
centerisusedasthereferencepoint.
Changingthechartoffsetvalue
1.PresstheMENUbutton.
2.Usingthetrackpad,highlighttheChartSetupmenuitem.Press
thetrackpadrighttoselectthemenuitem.
3.Usingthetrackpad,highlighttheChartOffsetmenuitem.Press
thetrackpadrighttoselectthemenuitem.
4.PresstheOFFSETsoftkeytoswitchChartOffsetON.
5.PresstheADJUSTN-SorADJUSTE-Wsoftkeyasappropriate,
andusetherotarycontroltochangethevalue.
