6. There are five card guide grooves that run the length of the case on the inside. Align the circuit boards
so the power supply board lines up with the second groove from the bottom, and the fiber optic
transceiver board lines up with the second groove from the top.
7. Once the boards are lined up, push them into the case until the rear panel is against the end of the
case.
8. Using a Phillips screwdriver, install and tighten four screws in the corners of the rear panel to secure it
to
the case.
9. Look at the PWR indicator on the front of the fiber optic remote module.
If the PWR indicator is lit, the fiber optic remote module is working properly.
If the PWR indicator does not light, check for the presence of station battery voltage at
terminal blocks TB1-5 (positive) and TB1-4 (negative) on the rear panel. If voltage is
present, the fiber optic remote module is defective and should be replaced. If voltage is
not present, determine the cause.
