7. ENERGY SAVING
7.1 ENERGY SAVE
7.1.1 ENERGY SAVER MODES
Customers should use energy saver modes properly, to save energy and protect the
environment.
The area shaded grey in this diagram represents the amount of energy that is saved when the
timers are at the default settings. If the timers are changed, then the energy saved will be
different. For example, if the timers are all set to 240 min., the grey area will disappear, and no
energy is saved before 240 min. expires.
Timer Settings
The user can set these timers with User Tools (System settings > Timer setting)
Auto off timer (1 – 240 min): Auto Off/Sleep Mode. Default settings: 1 minute
Energy saver timer (1 – 240 min): Low Power Mode. Default setting: 15 minutes
Normally, Auto Off timer < Energy Saver timer. But, for example, if Energy Saver timer < or =
Auto Off timer, the machine goes immediately to Low Power mode when the Energy Saver
timer expires. It skips the Auto Off mode.
Example
Auto Off: 1 min.
Low power: 15 min.
The machine goes to Low Power mode after 1 minute. Off/Sleep mode is not used.
