2.8.5 GIGABIT ETHERNET
Unplug the main machine power cord before you do the following procedure.
1. Remove the I/F-slot cover [A] (
x 2).
2. Install the Gigabit Ethernet board (Knob-screw x 2) into the I/F-slot [B].
3. Attach one ferrite core [A] to the Ethernet interface cable, and then attach the other ferrite
core [B] about 10cm from the end of the Ethernet interface cable.
4. Connect the Ethernet interface cable to the Gigabit Ethernet port.
Make sure that the machine can recognize this option (see ‘Check All Connections’ at the end
of this section).
