J012/J013/J014 4-36 SM
1. Clean the horizontal encoder film strip.
2. Inspect the path of the carriage and remove any jammed paper, paper
scraps, or other objects.
3. Replace the horizontal encoder film strip.
4. Replace the CTL board.
Jam 15 Abnormal Paper Transport Sequence
Message: Paper Misfeed: Inverter Guide Plate
Jam
The registration sensors detected the paper before the PFU relay sensor
signaled detection of the leading edge.
Cause: The registration sensor signals did not change.
Problem Site
1st Registration sensor
2nd Registration sensor
Action
Perform check, take action in this order:
1. Clean the transfer belt.
2. Replace the 1st Registration sensor.
3. Replace the 2nd Registration sensor.
